Up to recently I was in enormous debt. Things did not pan out the way I hoped. I dreamt the American Dream ... but that is all it was. A dream.
I went to college. Everyone told me: "Go to college, you will make a lot of money when you are done." Truth is I was not able to find a job. I worked at the local burger joint. Minimum wage. 6 days a week.
I racked up credit card bills. The compound interest of 19.99% meant I had to make minimum payments of $400 a month on the multiple cards I almost maxed out. Guess what I did; I did balance transfers ... back and forth, back and forth.
I finally had it up to here. In the past I checked for ways to make money online, but that was just for fun. I was a kid in those days.
Now I was an adult. Again I looked online on how to make money, I just wanted an extra income to pay this debt off. I could have sat by and attempt to pay the minimum for the next 40 years. But that would have kept me down into old age.
To make a long story short; I am still working at the burger place. The only difference is that I am now debt-free ................... and I am the newly minted manager.
